View of the tree-lined promenade in Vannes, with the statue of the novelist Le Sage, author of Gil Blas, erected in 1761 in the foreground. The reverse side features handwritten correspondence addressed to Mr. J.B. St. Jean in Orléans, dated August 13, 1934, with a 5-centime green stamp and a Vannes cancellation.
