Description

View of the Centenary Monument inaugurated in 1891 to celebrate the annexation of Avignon to the Comtat Venaissin to France, with a central statue and a building in the background. The reverse side bears a handwritten letter dated Sunday evening, addressed to 'Dear Adrienne', expressing the desire to see her again and the hope for a satisfactory response.
