Monumental statue 'La Victoire' by Rodin in Verdun, erected in 1920, depicting a triumphant winged figure. Printed text at the bottom of the front: 'Gloire de la France Eternelle ! L'Indomptable Cité Lorraine. Les fidèles amis de Hollande qui n'ont jamais désespéré du Triomphe du Droit - Décembre 1916 - Août 1920'. Reverse: handwritten letter dated 11 September 1920 sent from Verdun to Paris, with two 10-centime stamps and a postmark from Meuse.
