View of the main entrance to the Anthouard Quarter in Verdun, with an iron gate and a stone arch bearing the inscription 'QUARTIER D'ANTHOuard'. Two soldiers in uniform are posted near the entrance. On the reverse, a postcard sent to Mrs. G. Bonnefoy in Cerny-l'Évêque, with a 30 centimes stamp and a postal mark from Verdun dated 18 June 1916.
