View of the Monument aux Victoires in Verdun, located on Rue Mazel, with a statue on a monumental pedestal and visitors on the steps. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated around 1914–1915, sent from Verdun, mentioning a trip despite the rain and a walk at the Peace and Holy Sacrament festival. The publisher is MC, and the postmark is canceled in Verdun.
