Night view of the West Pier in Brighton, illuminated under a full moon, with visitors on the pier and boats along the shore. On the reverse, a postcard sent in 1936 from Brighton to Saint-Laurent-de-Brioude, France, with two stamps (a halfpenny and a penny) and a Brighton cancellation.
