View of the Place de la Gare in Winterthur with trams and pedestrians, a building with the sign 'RESTAURANT GOTTHARD BE PHALLE' in the foreground. Reverse: handwritten letter dated 15 July 1920, sent from the Hotel Krone, mentioning the hotel as the most beautiful in Winterthur and a walk to Schaffhouse. Stamp and postmark 'Winterthur' visible.
