View of the south-west coast of Alderney with steep cliffs and wild pink and yellow flowers. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 14 June 1974, sent from Guernsey to Paris, and a 4 p. Guernsey postmark (1922) cancelled in Cherbourg. Printed text at the bottom of the reverse describes the beauty of the cliffs and flowers.
