Description

Two men in traditional attire walk in front of a wall decorated with complex geometric-patterned ceramic tiles. On the reverse, an inscription in Russian and French states that the Shin-Dor madrasa houses the students' cells and has a brilliant ceramic carapace. The postal item was sent from Feurs (France) to Lyon, dated 23-10-96, with a Russian stamp and cancellation.
