Description

Four English porcelain figurines, dating from the early to mid-18th century, representing the seasons, displayed on a Sheraton-style satinwood table. Two porcelain plates from Plymouth complete the scene. The back indicates that the figurines come from Fenton House, property of the National Trust, and mentions the photograph by Charles Walls. British 7p stamp and Paris postmark of August 9, 1975.
