Description

Colorized panoramic view of the Haleakala Crater on the island of Maui, Hawaii, with ochre and green reliefs under a blue sky. The back indicates that the crater is an extinct volcano of 10,000 feet, known as the «House of the Sun» according to a Hawaiian legend. The publisher is Dexter Press, and the postcard was sent to recipients in France via American air mail dated August 20, 1971.
