Description

Illustrated postcard with nine black and white photographs of emblematic sites in the Yonne: the town hall of Sens, the cathedral of Sens, the wooden house from the 17th century in Joigny, the Dionne pit in Tonnerre, the Saint-Pierre church in Tonnerre, the cathedral of Auxerre, the Saint-Germain church in Auxerre, the general view of Avallon, and the gate of the Saint-Lazare church in Avallon. The reverse has handwritten text, a cancellation from DIXMONT (Yonne) dated 24 July 1957, a 15 centimes postmark, and the recipient's address in Paris. The publisher is indicated as 'COMBIEN IMP.' at the bottom left.
