Description

Aerial view of a floating village on the lakes of Khawr al-Hammar, south of the Persian Gulf, with houses on stilts and palm trees. On the reverse, printed text in French describing the lakes and the Maadans. French postmark of 2.20 F, cancellation 'X-EL 16 5 1988' and handwritten address to Paris. Publisher's signature 'Édito Service S.A.' at the bottom left.
