Description

Panoramic view of a lake surrounded by green hills and a distant hill, framed by trees. The back of the postcard is dated 23/7/71 and features a handwritten letter sent from the Isle of Skye in Scotland to Madame Fourmond in Paris. A blue 3p stamp of Queen Elizabeth II is affixed, with partial cancellation. The printed text indicates that the road crosses the north coast of Scotland between Tongue and Durness.
