Black and white view of Loch Lomond and Mount Ben Lomond (3192 ft), with a small boat on the water and hills in the background. The reverse has a handwritten letter in French and English, dated 29/17 (probably 29 January 1917), sent from Dundee and addressed to 'mon cher Michel'. The stamp is a 'Valentine's Card' printed in Britain, with a partially visible cancellation.
