Description

View of a ruined stone tower surrounded by vegetation, with a stone wall below. On the reverse, printed text indicating that this is the ancient keep of Montlhéry, fortified in 991, at an altitude of 134 meters, with a staircase of 132 steps. A handwritten inscription expresses personal memories. A 25-centime French Republic postage stamp, canceled in Mont-de-Marsan.
