Description

Postcard showing a small stone house with thatched roof, located in a Scottish rural landscape, with a man in a kilt nearby. The reverse indicates that the cottage was the farm of Old Leanach and survived the Battle of Culloden in 1746, now managed by the National Trust for Scotland as an information centre for visitors. The publisher is J. Arthur Dixon Ltd. and the recipient's address is Madame Ragion, 56 Rue Gudenberg, Paris XV, France. Three British stamps (3d, 1d, 1d) are affixed at the top right, with a partially visible postmark.
