Illustration of a woman in a embroidered veil holding a candle, work by the Russian artist A. Obukhova (1886–1961), winner of the Soviet State Prize. The back mentions her role in Mussorgsky's opera «Khovanshchina» and states that it was published by the publisher «Isabelle» in Moscow in 1977. Soviet postage stamp cancellation visible at the bottom right.
