View of the Abu Simbel temple with its four colossal statues of Ramses II, surrounded by tourists. On the reverse, a handwritten letter in French addressed to 'chérie Annie', signed 'Hélène, Maurice', with an Egyptian stamp and a cancellation 'ط.م.ج' (Tanta, May 23, 1973).
