Description

Black and white view of the village of Vezille at the foot of the Meije massif, with a church and stone houses. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated December 25, 1942, sent from Vezille (Hautes-Alpes) to Mr. Fritz de Rutte in Grisier, Serrières, Switzerland, with two 1.20 franc stamps and a postmark from Vezille.
