Description

Black and white panoramic view of Lake Aydat and the village below, with a church with a pointed spire in the foreground. The reverse indicates that the lake is a volcanic dam, with an area of 60 hectares, an altitude of 825 meters, and a depth of 10 to 12 meters. It bears a French postage stamp of 20 centimes canceled in 1963, and handwritten address text addressed to 'Monsieur l'Abbé'.
