Description

Black and white aerial view of the village of Meribel-les-Allues in winter, with scattered buildings on the snow-covered slopes. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated March 27, 1961, sent from Meribel to Paris, mentioning winter sports and children. The French Republic stamp (10.25 F) is canceled with the Meribel postmark, with a note of 'Reproduction Interdite'.
