Description

Black and white view of the La Grande Chartreuse monastery, with its sloped-roof buildings and central entrance, in front of a mountainous landscape. On the reverse, a handwritten inscription mentions a visit to the region, addressed to Henri, with a note of the date 1945 and a postmark from Chambéry.
