Description

Black and white view of the six-arch bridge over the Brenne in Montbard, with traditional houses in the background. The reverse indicates that the bridge was built in 1712 to replace the old one that had been swept away by the flood of November 12–13, 1710. French 8-franc postmark, partially visible cancellation.
