Illustrated postcard showing three Canadian postal scales, including one with equal arms, preserved at the Canadian Museum of Civilization. The reverse indicates that these scales were used to weigh letters to determine postal rates in small post offices in Canada between the end of the 19th century and the middle of the 20th century.
