Description

Illustrated postcard depicting the rear-wheel steamship Bonnington, launched in 1911 by the CPR to provide mail service on Kootenay, Arrow, and Okanagan lakes, transferred to the B.C. government in 1942 and dismantled in 1946. The reverse shows the sender's address in Lakeside, Ontario, and the recipient's address in Ingersoll, Ontario, with a Canada 32 postmark canceled on 6XII1984.
