Description

Postcard illustrating the steamer Bonnington, launched in 1911 for postal service on the Kootenay, Arrow, and Okanagan lakes. Printed text in English and French explains its use until 1931, then its transfer to the B.C. Government in 1942, and its demolition in 1946. Reverse: handwritten address to the City of Montreal, Canada 5¢ stamp, and cancellation 'CANADA 12-9-81'.
