Description

Postcard depicting steamships on the lakes, with bilingual text in English and French. The reverse mentions the history of the Bannington ship, launched in 1911 by the CPR for the lake postal service on Kootenay, Arrow, and Okanagan lakes, transferred to the British Columbia government in 1931 and demolished in 1946. The handwritten address indicates a recipient in Havre (Québec).
