Postcard illustrating the steamship Bonnington, launched in 1911 by the CPR for postal service on Kootenay and Okanagan lakes, transferred to the government of British Columbia in 1931 and dismantled in 1946. Bilingual text in English and French. Front: Canada 32 stamp, cancellation 'CANADA POST 1978', handwritten address to Montreal. Back: explanatory text on the ship's history.
