Description

Postcard illustrating three postal scales used to weigh packages in order to calculate postage rates, preserved at the Canadian Museum of Civilization. The text in English and French explains their function and origin, with a mention of their commissioning in Alberta in 1925. The recipient's address in Montreal and the sender's address in Bordeaux are handwritten on the front, with a Canada 39 stamp and a 1970 postmark.
