Description

Postcard illustrating the steamer Bonnington, launched in 1911 for the CPR postal service on the lakes of British Columbia, transferred to the provincial government in 1942 and decommissioned in 1946. The reverse contains bilingual text (English/French) and a handwritten address in Ottawa. Canada 32 stamp with Nakusp cancellation, 11/1/1984.
