Description

Postcard depicting the paddle wheel steamer Bonnington, launched in 1911 by the Canadian Pacific Railway Company to deliver mail on Kootenay, Arrow, and Okanagan lakes. The back indicates it was transferred to the provincial government in 1942 and dismantled in 1946. The handwritten address is in Ottawa, Ontario, with a Canada 32 stamp and a postmark from St. Catharines dated January 15, 1958.
