Description

Postcard illustrating the steamer Bonnington, launched in 1911 for postal service on Arrow, Kootenay, and Okanagan lakes, operated by the CPR until 1931, then transferred to the government of British Columbia in 1932, and dismantled in 1946. Front: Canada stamp 32, Ottawa postmark of 19 July 1964, handwritten address to Frito Lay Canada. Reverse: bilingual text in English and French describing the history of the ship.
