Description

Postcard illustrating the wheel steamer Bonnington, launched in 1931 by the CPR for postal service on Kootenay, Arrow, and Okanagan lakes in British Columbia, transferred to the provincial government in 1942 and demolished in 1946. The reverse indicates the publisher Canada Post and mentions the destination: Canada Pension Commission, Ancillary Benefits, Ottawa. Canada stamp 32 cancelled at Oxbow, Sask., July 7, 1963.
