Description

Postcard depicting the steamer Bonnington, launched in 1911 by the CPR to provide mail service on the Nakusp, Kootenay, and Okanagan lakes. Printed text in English and French on the back details its service until 1931, then its transfer to the Government of British Columbia in 1942, before its scrapping in 1946. The handwritten address indicates a recipient in Ottawa, Canada.
