Description

Panoramic view of Margate at the beginning of the 20th century, showing the clock tower, the lively port with boats and pedestrians, as well as horse-drawn vehicles and pedestrians on the quays. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 2.1.12, addressed to Mademoiselle Pigeonville in Paris, accompanied by two dark green 1 penny stamps.
