Indian postcard dated 1944, with a green 9 pence stamp depicting the profile of King George VI. The reverse has a handwritten address in Malayalam and English to Nagaramalgi Lobra, Jachhanampey, with a circular postmark of 'HALIYANNA' and a note 'ADDRESS ONLY'. The front text is entirely written in cursive Malayalam, with fluid and dense handwriting.
