Description

Postcard dated 12 January 1919, sent from Jaipur to Delhi via R.M.S. service, with cancellations from Jaipur City (14 JAN.19) and Delhi R.M.S. (12 JAN.19). The reverse features a handwritten letter in local script (probably Malayalam) and English, addressed to 'Le Sri Srinivasa Rani, Jahari Katavala, Jaipur'. The card bears the inscription 'THE ANNEXED CARD IS INTENDED FOR THE ANSWER' and handwritten annotations in local script.
