Description

Ancient Indian postcard with stamps of 25 and 325 paise depicting fruits and a worker. Text in English and Kannada indicates that it must be delivered to a post office officer with receipt. Reverse: recipient at Currency Officer, Reserve Bank of India, Bangalore, with blue 'REGISTERED LETTER' stamp and insurance stamp. Postmark of Kudige, Karnataka, dated 1958.
