Panoramic view of the city center of Le Mans from Quai Ledru-Rollin, showing the metal bridge over the Sarthe and the sloping rooftops of the buildings. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Lotz in Béthièvres (Morbihan), with a 5-centime French postage stamp and a postmark from Cherbourg dated October 23, 1909.
