View of ruins after a German bombardment in the Meuse, with collapsed walls and a uprooted tree in the foreground. The reverse features military correspondence dated 1915, addressed to Mr. Jeanne Lemoine in Brunoy (Seine-et-Oise), with a postmark from Tressey (Brie-Semaine) and the notation 'Visé Nancy A. 1892'.
