Description

Black and white view of the medieval keep of Niort, with its stone towers and retaining wall, bordered by a metal grille. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 12, 1913, addressed to a friend, mentioning good news, the strength to face the weather, and the arrival of a husband. The stamp and cancellation are visible at the top left.
