View of the façade of the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, with its two towers and central rose window, at the beginning of the 20th century. The reverse bears handwritten correspondence dated October 31, 1918, addressed to 'Chérie Élise', mentioning a planned departure for February 14 and an address to 'M. Le Préfet de Police, Paris'.
