Description

View of Place de la Concorde in Paris, with the Obelisk in the center and statues of major French cities (Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Rouen, Nantes, Lille, Strasbourg, Brest). The printed text recalls the history of the site: started in 1754, inaugurated in 1763 under the name Place Louis XV, then Place de la Révolution in 1795, and its current name restored in 1814. The reverse shows the areas for writing the sender and address, with traces of folds and stains.
