View of the Gymnase Theatre in Paris on the Boulevard Bonne-Nouvelle, with a carriage and pedestrians. The reverse details its history: partly built on the former Protestant cemetery, opened in 1820, it became the theatre of the Duchess of Berry in 1830. The façade was renovated in 1887 under the initiative of Victor Koning. Publisher: Cartes d'Autrefois, Paris/Ile-de-France.
