Scene of a picnic on the grass in front of the Scala Sancta in Sainte-Anne d'Auray, with a crowd of people in period costumes. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated October 11, 1916, addressed to Madame V. D. Redon in Redon, with a 10-cent postage stamp and a post office stamp from Riantec.
