Black and white view of a veiled woman walking on a steep path, with the city of Algiers extending over the hills in the background. The reverse has a handwritten address to Angervilliers (Seine-et-Oise) and a handwritten date 'Algiers 4 Feb 1944'. A green 5-centime stamp is affixed, canceled with a circular postmark reading 'ALGER SAUVEUR' dated 1 January 1944.
