Description

Black and white panoramic view of the Mer de Glace glacier, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and conifers in the foreground. Back: handwritten letter dated September 2, 1935, addressed to Madame Maunay, mentioning a walk in Chamonix and admiration of the glacier. Postmark and cancellation from Chamonix visible.
