Description

Postcard showing the armored ship Le Charles-Martel at sea, with an inscription printed at the bottom. On the reverse, a handwritten address to Mademoiselle Geneviève Ardissou-Bel in Vallauris, a 5-centime French postage stamp (1898) and a postmark from Saint-Martin (S-MAR) dated 27 May 1898. The sender is signed 'A.M.' and the address is completed by 'Villa Chiris 24 54 95'.
