Humorous scene in a street in Falaise where a drummer, in officer's costume, forbids passersby from going out without a lantern. The residents, in traditional costumes, listen to him. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to Mrs. Argot in Levallois-Perret, with a red 50-cent stamp and a postmark from Rennes dated February 14, 1902.
